NUSIM, S.A. integrates for ENRESA a hydraulic drive system with wireless control for the concrete hoppers at the container manufacturing plant in the Disposal Facility. “El Cabril”. September 7th, 2017

NUSIM, S.A. has finished the supply and integration works of a hydraulic drive system with wireless control for the Containers Factory at “El Cabril” Disposal Facility.

For the manufacturing of CE-2a and CE-2b containers, in the Containers Factory there was two 1,5m2 concrete hoppers with local pneumatic operation opening system. Consequently external air supply was required affecting operation and safety.

NUSIM has carried out the replacement of the original pneumatic system by an autonomous hydraulic system with the integration of two high efficiency acid lead batteries. In addition to these batteries, the hydraulic system design that optimizes the operation of the pump, ensure that the autonomy required by the customer is exceedingly covered and all the system is integrated within the hopper skid.

The hoppers incorporates a powerful wireless control system that allows their remote operation. The user can operates the selected hopper in each moment from the same remote control device.

The system also includes additional safety elements against operation errors and a manual operation system for contingencies.

All elements are incorporated into existing hoppers by a compact integration, minimizing the visual interference on the discharge area and ensuring the degree of IP protection required for the demanding working and cleaning conditions of these kind of equipment.
