Within the expansion and modernization of the scenic space performed in La Maestranza Theatre, Nusim, SA was responsible for the development, manufacture and installation of the new platforms stage.
The object was to provide the theater four platforms that cover the entire stage box with scenic performance, and sufficient precisions to integrate the new passive carras traction system by retractable pinion.
In total, four platforms of 15 m. x 3.75 m were installed, elevated by 6 spiralifts of 18 “, reaching a maximum speed of 6 meters per minute at full load.
The platforms have a second floor to facilitate scenic appearances. This lower surface is suspended by some folding joints that allow the stage descent to its lowest level without loss during the travel.

The rated speed of the platforms is 6 m / min, the registrable trap doors and collapsible lower floor confer on them versatility and ease of use that allows easily including them in any scenic effect.
The image shows the lower plant of the platform. When the plant reaches the travel limit, is settled in the pit while continues the descent of the upper floor until the whole set is fully folded.
Thereby, the route of the upper platform is maximized without any limitations by the fact of being provided with two levels.
